Waterproofers and Additives

Brunopel IWP is a BBA Approved additive based on an alkaline soap of mixed fatty acids, designed for use in sand/cement mixes following the insertion of a chemical DPC.

Integral Waterproofer No. 2 is BBA Approved additive based on an alkaline soap mixed fatty acids, designed for use in sand/cement mixes following the insertion of a chemical DPC and in other waterproofing applications.

Brunolene PS is a BBA Approved alkaline-stable wax emulsion designed in particular for use in weaker sand/cement mixes (6:1) or sand:lime:cement mixes (6:1:1). This is particularly useful when working with weak substrates. Also suitable for use in Wykamol Renovating Plaster or to improve the moisture resistance of proprietary perlite-based plasters such as Limelite cement backing.

Wykamol SBR Latex is a Styrene Butadiene Copolymer Latex which is specially modified to be compatible with cement based mixes (ordinary portland cement or high aluminium cement). It may be incorporated into cementitious renders, screeds or patching mixes in order to improve adhesion and abrasion resistance. It can be used internally or externally and in areas of continuous or intermittent water contact.

Salt Neutraliser, an aqueous solution based on acetic acid with a surfactant, has been specifically developed to overcome the problem of salts in mineral building surfaces and is suitable for a wide range of substrates from new plasterwork to old stone.
