Description
Patented INSOFAST helical anchor with a 60mm diameter impact-resistant synthetic collar for securing externalwall insulation in building refurbishment, thermal upgrades and new-build applications. Particularly well suited for fastening insulation to aircrete solidwalls, for example fixing insulation toThermalite, Celcon or Durox lightweight blocks.
The anchor can be used with or without pilot holes and driven in using a conventional hammer or hammer drill fitted with an SDS adapter.
Benefits
ISF60 anchors are suitable for fixing all commonly used types of external wall insulation board, including extruded polystyrene / EPS, Polyisocyanurate / PIR, mineral wool and phenolic foam.
They are the only anchors of their type approved for fixing into aircrete masonry without the need for pre-drilling. For other substrates, they require very small pilot holes (5mm for brick or 6mm for structural concrete), ensuring that the effectiveness and integrity of the insulation materials are not compromised.
