Wykabor Range

Wykabor 10 is an aqueous wood preservative and masonry biocide based on disodium octaborate and benazalkonium chloride. Suitable for the eradication of common furniture beetle (Anobium punctatum) and other wood boring insects in building timbers. Also for the prevention of fungal decay in sound timbers following the removal of sources of moisture.

Wykabor 10 Cut End is a tinted preservative for use on the exposed areas of pretreated timber after cross cutting, notching or drilling. Suitable for all timber species, it ensures the durability of the treated timber against insect and fungal attack. Suitable for interior or exterior use.

Wykabor 20 is a special boron-based, brushable and sprayable wood preservative for use in high risk areas to treat against dry and wet rot as well as wood destroying insects.

Wykabor 20 Gel is a special boron-based, brushable and injectable gel for use in high risk areas to treat against dry and wet rot as well as wood destroying insects.

Wykabor 40 is a glycol-based wood preservative formulation containing disodium octaborate. Designed for use by injection into larger dimension timbers to protect against wood boring insects and fungal decay.

Wykabor DB is a 34% w/w (410 g/litre) glycolborate formulation based on disodium octaborate tetrahydrate (10% w/w on dilution). It is specially formulated to give free-flowing characteristics and spontaneous mixing on dilution with water. Based solely on inorganic ‘boron’ .

Wykamol Boron Rods are cylindrical implants composed entirely of anhydrous boric oxide. They contain the maximum level of borate preservative available in rod form (1kg of Boron Rods yields 1.7kg boric acid when dissolved).

Wykabor Powder is the widely used, high performance Borate Disodium Octaborate Tetrahydrate.

Wykabor Wood Preservative is a water soluble wood preservative based on disodium octaborate ('Boron') particularly suitable for treating window/door joinery and exterior timber cladding to prevent fungal decay in service (when protected by paint or other coating).
